WinnWell g500 1-Piece Composite Hockey Stick

I bought one of these in a CD Int flex (70 I think). Just FYI, the sticker on the inside says P91.

I liked the heel wedge (coming from Modano clone), but my big problem with the stick is the shaft width. Even though it's an intermediate flex, it's got a really thick shaft - feels like I'm playing with a 2x4 or something. And it really stings the hands on slappers. Plus I think the lie is higher than what I need...

Does anyone know of a way to get a true intermediate Drury-type wedge? I don't think Easton makes an intermediate Drury, and I couldn't find any other clone options. If this is a re-painted Bauer, does this mean that I'll have the same shaft problem with other Bauers? Thanks!

winn well makes all it's own sticks. there not 1100 or vapor xxx.

infact they make all there own equipment. that's why it all sucks especially the gloves and sticks. The bladders were left in the blades of the sticks during manufacturing and that is where most of the durability problems come from in them.

Read the first part of this post. Winwell g500s are Vapor XXXs that have been repainted. That's why the inside of Stephen11's g500 says p91. P91 is a Bauer curve that is very similiar to a Drury.

Most of the ones I saw were 1100s, but there were a few True-1s mixed in.

some are tri flexes, some XX's, and some are 1100's. you need to inspect the manufacturers code on the inside of the shaft

all of the G300's I've seen in TX have been 1100's ..I wind up looking at the patterns first...and also if they differ from the typical 220 260 etc flex from Inno..

the g500 is a bauer xxx. i have one and there are no differences besides paint job. not a bad stick at all good feel but not as good as an adrenaline.

inno made the xxx's. basically the same just bauer specs. my g500 that was supposedly a 70 flex was marked 320. it's really a 77 flex.

The g300s are Innos, the g500s are Vapor XXXs

i got it today and it felt different from my xxx

blade heavy

one says p10

the other is a buncha random numbers

honestly it feels like a crappy mission z-1

P10 should be the pattern (shanny clone/old gagne)

the numbers are likely related to the weight and flex.

Could be an Inno 1100 or maybe even an Apollo. I don't trust those Winwell sticks.

ok so what i can tell there are 2 stickers

one says P10

there other says 820/V30/320

any ideas?
