Rinkrat Blue flames... they are not made anymore but even when they were out i have yet to hear anyone have problems with them other then they look stupid to some. i've been using them since i got my PF10's and would buy another set if i could.

I thought the MB816 was the '05+ Blue Flame..

also..depends on your style..for me its Revision/Rink Rat with the Revision being slightly more durable..but we are splitting hairs when comparing them to the rest of the field..I get 6+ months out of them and 6+ games out of everyone else..

ya from what i heard the MB816 is the upgrade/replacement to the blue flame but i've heard some problems with them and my friend got a set himself and didn't like them because they were slipping on him.

what does everyone think of the new hyper wheels that are on the mission 10 000's (Hyper zero G carbon fiber hub wheels)?

i was really sceptical about them starting using them on my heliums after being a die hard rink rat hornet fan for the past few years, but after giving them a good workout, i love them and the weight of them is unbelievable, i will just have to see how they last!

$20 per wheel don't count with normal people...

shute your right about that, $20 a wheel is crazy...Why would anyone need wheels that cost that much and how could hyper really expect to sell that many sets of wheels at $160 a set...But then again I dont think wheels are worth even $10 a wheel yet a ton of people pay for them...

the thing is with wheels that cost so much like the hypers going for 20 dollars or the revisions for 9 or 12.. if they go for that much money they SHOULD last.. like Jim A said.. hes on revisions and rinkrats for 6+ months.. if your paying 9-12bucks on a wheel then its worth it. If your paying 7-8 bucks on a wheel and buying a set every 2 months or even every month then your gonna save money on the revisions or rinkrats

Just curious...How often do you guys rotate your wheels, and how do ya rotate, do ya flip em or switch places, etc... I get a good 6 months out my Hornets and rotate them about every month or so.

take the wheel with the least wear and swap it with the one with the most wear...

me getting 6+ months on wheels is insane...after the sport moved to Sport Court and 86A Kuzak's were out the window..I've been a poor man

I have used the Hyper Zero g's and they didn't last all that long for me! Also you don't even notice the weight difference after skating for half an hour or so, when you weigh the wheels the zero g's are lighter but when you skate you hardly notice! Personaly I don't think the weight of a wheel should really come into this thread (Unless the wheel was 2 or 3 times the weight of a normal wheel). It's like having the lightest skate that doesn't fit vs a skate that weighs 50 grams more but feels like a dream! Go for the grippy, durabile wheel not the lightest!

i weight 160/165.. i skate very hard and cut alot.. to be 100% honest i havent used rinkrats since they first game out in florida in2001 i think it was? i still have those wheels and use them every once in a while. I know they have been upgraded and are alot better since then. So have the original revisions. I got the MB816 on my 9500s.. and never really used them because i looked at the hub and saw that there wasnt as much urethane on the wheel as the 608 core revisions had. I personally just love how the revisions feel and the speed of them. I think revision and rinkrat have two different theories. both are great wheels. eventually im gonna use my rinkrats but ive been on revisions for a while now. i also love how they bend to help you on turns and you can go into a turn at full speed... of course there are wheels that bend also but idk i just love these wheels.. they are definently worth a try, but wheels are about your preference not about what other people have.. give w/e you want a try and if the wheels work then fine.. also im on the 06 wheels with the pink hubs, ive been using them for about 2 months (since torhs winternationals) i play highschool every weekend.. a 4 on 4 elite league, practice, tournaments.. and they still grip amazing and i havent rotated them once.. bottom line go with what you like
