I've read something along time ago that a higher percentage of accidental shootings occur while quail hunting than compared to other types of bird hunting.Quail tend to flush in packs and they often change directions in flight. It's very easy to get caught up in the excitement of a quail flush and forget where the rest of your hunting party is.
