Help with Curve

Recommended Posts

If that is Shawn Bates of the Islanders, it is a retail Sakic, or something very similar, as Chadd stated.

I recall seeing him with a retail Sakic at open hockey in Boston a few years back...

Yes, it is Shawn Bates of the Islanders. So the Sakic would be the closest retail curve? How close would a p106 be? thx

Check the Pattern DB in the tool bar above....

To answer the question, Sakic is a mid curve and P106 is a heel curve. Sakic has a Slightly Open face vs the P106's Open face Blade lenght and lie are also different.

Sorry, I worded my question wrong. How close would the p106 be to the Bates curve?

The lie of the P106 is actually similar to the Sakic. I know Bauer says lie 5 for the P106, but I've used both and they are both around 5.5

Looks like the Bauer Kovalchuk pattern to me.

Huh? The Kovalchuk is supposed to be Bauer's Drury...

It's as clear as day that this Bates curve is a Sakic.

Actually I was looking at pictures of the Kovalchuk curve and it didn't seem that far off. I think I'll see if my LHS has any Nash or Kovalchuk curves in stock
