i wa splayin in a distric game saturday, and with about 1:50 left tog o in the game the kid got a breakaway & i gave him too much glove & he burnt me. we lost 2-1

we beat them to go to championship weekend.

but in the game we lost,i slammed my rbk stick on the post along the paddle lengh part & thought i screwed up the paint, next game it cracked and i almost fell.has this ever happen to you & is it a penilty to leave the goal net douring a stopage of play to get another stick?

Goalies can play with a broken stick. As for a stoppage in play, I'm not sure, I've never had a broken stick.

I've been using an RBK 6k and love it.

Still loving my CCM H-10! Just broke one tonight, but it has lasted me 4-6 nights a week for the last 3 months so I wont complain.

That's not true for USA Hockey.

Rule 605(A) ...A player or goalkeeper whose stick is broken may participate in the game provided he drops the stick

As for getting a stick from the bench; goalies can not go to the bench without permission from the ref. Another player must bring a replacement stick from the bench. 605©

Holy ****, I always thought you could use a broken stick as a goalie! Thanks for clearing that up.

But back to the topic, I used a Koho 590 (intermediate, I'm a midget) for, well it's been about 3 years or more now. That's on inline AND ice both. I got a CCM H8, but the paddle was shorter than I wanted so it's sitting right now. I liked how it felt-lightweight. Great stick for the price.

Starting looking into the RBK 6K because I liked the look and I wanted something lighter than my Koho. I ended up with a 25" Cujo and I love that stick. I don't go through sticks like others seem to though. This stick will probably last me at least another year. Maybe more.
