Women's sticks/flex

Recommended Posts

Okay

I'm using a hespeler nemisis stick and it has the BEST flex I have EVER used and I can't find any anywhere now.

I'm looking for a one piece stick that has a mid range flex and is still really light and durable.

I'm 5'7, 140lbs playing at a high level of hockey. My hespeler stick has lasted me almost two full seasons and it's still going.

So any women's sticks out there or sticks with a good flex out there?

I work for a Division 1 NCAA womens team and the majority of the girls are using either the Easton Stealth or SL in the 65 flex. I've got a couple in 85 flex but they have a couple inches and about 20 lbs on you. The stealths have been holding up better than the SL's though, so keep that in mind. The other popular one that I've seen a few teams using is the TPS Response in either the int or whip flex. It depends on whether you like a smaller shaft diameter or not. Both are good.

I'm in Alberta.

I just started playing competitve hockey last year, but I've been playing sports since I was little. I played National fastball and baseball and I've sprint kayaked Nationally and Internationally.

I have good base skills and am a good skater. My shot is harder than most girls on our team, but I still need to work on it.

I'll looking for a Stealth when I get to Calgary. I want to get into the Oval system and start playing at a higher level. I play tier 2 right now but I want to move up to tier one next year.

Thanks guys.
