LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 I am looking to buy new skates. I have it down to 4 pairs of skates. Vapor 15, Easton Air's, Vector 7.0 and S400. I have easton airs right now and would be willing to swich. I tried on all of these skates they all were very comfterable. If you have tried any of these let me know if you liked them. Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 Ok, I would go with the Easton's if you are looking for a good deal and then switch to the Tuuk holder. Easton's boots are great IMO, but the Razor Blades holder is garbage. Plus, if you buy them between June 1-30 you get a free Si-Core. Then you can sell that (like I will be) and get awesome skates for like $190 (after the Si-Core is sold). If you are looking for good forward flex and ankle control, go with the S400's, that is Missions whole skate "theory". The Vectors and Vapors tend to break down and seem to be pretty crappy if you ask me, so unless you are sold on them, I personally wouldn't go with them. ngh 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 My Vapor XV's are holding up great and are comfy, but they don't offer much protection if your gonna be playing on the defensive end.
