eagle custom pro vs cp94,6,8's

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the eagle custom pro gloves and those marked CP94, 96, or 98? Also I have seen gloves marked CP94, CP96, CP98, is there a difference among these gloves? I am able to get the Custom Pro's for about 176.00 US and the CP98's for about 150 U.S., is it worth the difference? The guy at Eastwest Hockey said there wasn't a difference, why the price difference then??? Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks.

so what's the difference between the cps and the cp9...? is it just cuff length and style? what is the cuff considered to be on the cps...short? and the cp94, 96, 98? why is there the 25 dollar difference in price?

I know this is an old topic, but my question is most relevant in this thread:

Does anyone know how the CP94's fit in relation to the XPro's?

I bought a pair of 14' Eagle XPro from Perani's and I hated the way they fit. They felt super snug, and it seemed like the breaks were in the wrong places and were completely uncomfortable on my hand. Almost felt like they were smaller than 14'. I had to take them back.

I like the styling of the CP94's, as well as the Nylon, and was curious if I should stick with 14', or go with 15' if they fit similar to the XPro's

Any feedback/insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A friend has a pair of the Odyssey X6 (seems to be pretty much the same glove as Perani's X-Pro glove), which are listed on some sites as 14" but they are snugger than my X-70s. He fixed the problem by cutting out the liner padding in the backhand, but the break is a bit awkward compared to mine. The X-70s that I've got feel just about perfect, and I like that loose-fitting feel in my gloves.

Thanks for the feedback.

The XPro definitely has a weird break. Instead of modifying them, I just took them back.

I guess I'll stick with the 14' when I order the CP94, and I probably should specify that I want the long cuffs. I didn't know EWH had them with both short and long cuffs.

Mods aren't going to like you plugging your site on a 2 month old thread, Steve.
