What were the ranks of the teams they played? You don't get both top seeds very often. Detroit is damn good but playing Chicago, St Louis and Columbus so many times helps their record quite a bit.

I'm looking forward to watching the Wings crash and burn. The Ducks kind of ruined their party a few years ago. Didn't Nashville also give them a scare? It could happen again easier than you think. And when it does everyone will have all the answers why after they lose, never before they lose. Reminds me of Duke losing the other night, now all the experts see all the flaws in the team when they lose, but never before they lose. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Detroit has seemed to have alot of trouble in the first round over the years. Nashville gave'em a run last season, Anahiem beat them and Vancouver had'em if not for a weak Cloutier goal.

Carolina's been the most consisent.

Consistenly bad.

Lately they loose almost every game although I can see them looking ahead to the playoffs and kinda looking ahead as it happens farly often. The lose of Cole should be underestimated but I mean loosing to the Caps?

They've been in their losses thoug haven't they? Buffalo seems to get blown out every once in a while as does Ottawa.
