is the SL constructed in a similar fashion as the original synergy?

i.e. 1 tapered shaft + blade, bonded together?

is the blade in the SL the same as the ST?

is the only difference between the 2 sticks the shaft?

Not sure about the construction. The blades in the ST and SL are diffrent. The ST has 3 bridges in it. The SL is a CNT(carbon nano tube) blade. I think the ST is more durable than the SL blade.

The shaft of the SL is feels smaller in my hands than the ST. The shaft of the ST is like the old silver Synergy and the SL is a little smaller.

Yes, the SL is a "fused" OPS just like the Synergy and 95% of all other OPS on the market.
