Im not sure what the rules of this are but,

Are any of you going to the Maddison Square megaplex in St, Peters Missouri? during friday, saturday, sunday/31st-2nd?

if so what age and what team?

hmm, well i wont be playin you, but i might stick around to watch a game or two.

o and this is your home rink? it is a really well kept place. Its not the fanciest building but I love the refs you guys got and the staff you guys have there too.

I come to your rink like 4 times a season.

The cleanliness there is definitely a bonus. Other rinks in town have filthier lockerrooms than a bathroom floor....just plain nasty.

The home refs are great but I warn you that TORHS does bring in outside refs. We've gotten some terrible calls from them at past toruneys....

Overall the house leagues at MSG TriPlex are more expensive than other local rinks, but I pay to play there 4-5 leagues a week over the other ones anytime and it's well worth the extra league fees.

(And for us over 21-ers, the bar in back is a great place to "escape" when we lose the first two games of the tourney... :lol: )

Off topic slightly but wow...I just Google'd the rink you're playin in (http://www.mattesonsquaregarden.com I hope) and wow! Wish we had places like that in the UK!

UK guys...rekon we should put together a MSH UK team and tour some nice inline rinks in the US of A?? :D

did they add a bar shorthanded? lol, i dont remember it being there except for the concession stand in the very front...

anyways what chriss said would be really sweet , if you actually ever did youd have to put it up on MSH for us...

If you remember, in the very back of the rink there was a gameroom with pinball machines/arcade games/etc.....that is now a bar. Pretty decent, big screen TV, sports memorabilia....no liquor, just beer (not that it matters since you're too young anyway :P ).

ChrisGP: If you UK guys hit up any midwest inline rinks, let me know....definitely would love to play. I'll try to throw on my best British accent....although I may just end up sounding like a rehashed Monty Python skit. :lol:

I played in a 2Hot4Ice regional tourney a few years ago when they came here to St. Louis. It wasn't terrible but I wasn't a big fans of their refs that they brought.

hey shorthanded..do you have your scheduale yet? Ive got mine ive got 3 16u games and 2 18u games. bout 5 on saturday and 1 or 2 on sunday. no fridays.

Id love to see another modsquader play if youve got your times.

But Im riding with 8 other guys in a 12 seater van so I dont know how many I will stick around to watch.
