the outside of the xxx boot also feels more cut resistant then the xx, also different footbed if that matters

retailers will tell you the xx is a much better skate the improvements made to the xxx didn't work as they thought plus now the xx is much cheaper the only difference is the inner liner and the holders are called lite speed 2 but if you have to replace the steel in your xx's the steel from the 2's will fit

Sure they didn't...

They added a Clarino liner, a flat outsole for better mounts, stronger quarter package, better bolt system and shaved weight.

i was told that the biggest difference was in the sole and the xxx had a better graphite sole which made it lighter and a little stronger
