I think that the warranty on holders and steel is 1 year.

i've been told we shouldn't paint the holders cause the paint will break down the holder faster

The chemicals or what not in the paint tends to weaken the plastic. With a lacrosse head if you paint it your warntee is void (paint, not dye) and it tends to crack a LOT quicker.

The heads are made out of the same type of material as the holders. So I think the same would go for them.
