Graf G-Series

Honestly, I think Graf's QC has been on a downfall since they started to get better known...I've seen misplaced eyelets and sloppy soles and blade mounts.  Hockeydude works at Just Hockey in Toronto.  Dunno about TCSnipes.

do you forget about your sole on your missions JR that were also mangled, every company is bad with it holder mounting or stuff like that. thats why recently weve been checking all graf skates and i think well do bauers also for blade alignment and fixing it according to what maximum edge does, also the reason grafs steel was breaking was because they changed steel manufacturers and the new company when they were first making it they would temper the steel before cutting where they now cut it then temper it making it stronger, ive had 2 runners on my cobras and only reason i changed the runners was because they were getting low. I reccomend that if you have grafs and your getting new runners to see the steel before its put on and if its a silver colour on the bottom of the blade dont take it ask for a purplish colour on the bottom of the steel. Also there is mission and graf both have posters showing proper blade alignment and I learned a few weeks ago that a persons body can make up for a slight off blade alignment and that a blade is never bent, a blade is only torgued into appearing bent. also you cant really judge a boots alignment by looking at if because the stitching is not always even, the tendon guard may not be stitched square to the rest of the boot or the lettering on the back might not be properlyput on the boot. any maximum edge member had a blade aligner which works very well.

The soles weren't mangled, they were slightly off. I checked mine a couple of times and they're fine, of course I didn't bake mine.

yeah but they were off enough though that we had to take the holders off to bake them so the sole would straighten, and the properly mount the holder to the boot

If I'm not mistaken the holders were coming off anyway for other reasons. You'd think you own stock in Graf the way you constantly hype them and knock everything else.

i think the most common problem ive seen is skates with 10 eyelets on one side, and 9 on the other, but ive seen bauer do that too...

EDIT: because i typed it like a spastic

i honestly think mission makes a better skate then bauer when you look at the XX and the S500 I though the S500 skate is a nice skate. I dont like the holder much but I think mission was smart in buying Itech because now theyll make a decent helmet that can be adjusted. I always keep an open mind just im not to happy with bauer thats all. There XX skate is garbage, the V-12 is horrible for durability issues and I think i remember Jr was changing his holders to tuuks wasnt he? I cant remember just they were taken off for the sole to be fixed.
