Larry54 243 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 If you have them down to bare metal, you could use this:http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.htmlIt shouldn't affect performance, but I would mask off the axle holes or put something in them before painting.If your frames are plastic or composite material, I wouldn't risk painting them.
