Branches Sticks

Recommended Posts

I was at LHS yesterday and saw a bunch of unfinished OPS hockey sticks. I asked the manager what kind they were and he said they were branches. He said they had gone out of business and he had bought all there left over sticks. He is selling them for 50 bucks a piece. They were in different stages. Some were primed, a few were painted, and some were just sanded. Has anyone ever used the OPS's? How good are they?

I'm not sure what model they were. The ones that were closer to completion were painted red if that helps. Do they have a web site? I looked but couldn't find one.

They closed out their hockey business a few years ago. They also made canoe paddles. That was their specialty. It was how they knew how to work with wood.

Never used the OPS (the Magnum I would assume). But the shafts are top-notch. I currently use a K-Lite and a Double Trouble that I snagged off ebay some time ago. Only place I've been able to locate them aside from ebay is some website overseas that won't ship sticks out of country. If you can find some, get them.
