Removing grip from grip lite

Recommended Posts

I am trying to remove the grip coating from my grip lite I tried it with some lite a sandpaper but it doesn't work very well? Should I use something else or just be more aggressive with the sandpaper? If I do will it take off the logos?

If you have an older model where the grip had a "lip" where it ended, you could heat it up with a heatgun and see if you can't start peeling. From the way mine look when it gets chipped you'll probably lose the middle graphics (Grip Lite) but the Easton and the "E" logos should hold on.

a kid on my team took some heavy sandpaper to his Synthesis grip and it worked out for him but he scratched up some logos and totally took off the others. But i dunno of the girp lite grip is different on yours, depending on the model you have , 02 or?

i dunno what model you have but i have the 02 grip lite and heres how i took off my grip. First i get some regular hockey tape and taped it on real tight. Then i left it on there for a couple games and then took it off. The grip came off like orange peel.

Why not just buy an UL?

Either way Sandpaper will take forever. Try to slice it till you hit the shaft. Then take pliers and pull it off.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.
