markush 12 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 I think the far best thing is tape2tape (available at http://www.tape-2-tape.com/ and http://www.hockeywithjon.com/ ). So you can practise "real world" with a puck and have a greeting feeling.
B19Kress 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Just ordered at 4x4 sheet of 1/16th HDPE.. hopefully it's all it's cracked up to be...What is the best think to use on it? Regular Puck? SmartBall?
furlanitalia 1 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 You should be fine to use a regular puck with it. There may be some resistance but it should only develop your wrists due to more work. If the puck is flipping around on you though get some Armor All and spray it so it slides better.

furlanitalia 1 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 I don't, but I'm sure you could if you wanted to. Normally I just wear shoes. I'll have to check when I get home but I think my practice stick is actually a slightly different lie then what I use on the ice. This might be why I don't notice a difference.
