SMP 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2006 My wife and I were big into paintball a few years ago... mostly tourney stuff. She was on a team and I was her pod bitch. Ah well... I was more of a woodsballer anyways. :P I have been playing since '92 and still sometimes get out and shoot it up with the guys and gals. I too have had many paint slingers, but my current stable is: an F1 illustrator, a VM68 w/ tactical mods, a custom Minicocker and a Nexus G4H Ego (which I'm currently trying to sell to pay for league hockey).I love playing paintball, but boy I tell ya... once I found hockey I haven't had much desire to play it. Grave77Digger 1 Report post Posted June 9, 2006 I never cared for the Tourney scene, bunch of cheating knuckle heads who spray and pray. Recball in the woods is great.
notorious#29 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2006 I'm not much of a Tourney/speedball player, Woodsball is my game. I play quite often at the local fields, and in the woods with buddies. My gun is nothing to write home about, like pretty much every woodsballer out there I have a Tippmann 98c. I also added a 14" J&J Ceramic, double trigger, CP drop forward, GTA x-chamber, and a Viewloader Revvy with X board. Once I get some more cash I'm going to upgrade to HPA. I also have an '04 Spyder Imagine for those few times I play speedball.

tuzzifan44 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 I play speedball tourney's, I just got back into it after a 2 year hiatus. I have owned 2 cockers, angel ir3, angel a4, and now own a 2006 Mac Dev Cyborg(best gun ever!) It's one of the funnest sports ever, but will empty your wallet really fast
zingbergeur 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 I used to play a lot in the mid 90s. I just have a spider, and I think all I changed was the bolt and put on a carbon fiber barrel. It was a lot of fun, but I always stuck to woodsball. My buddies and I made a sweet course on some state land, and the DNR burned it all down.
DeI 18 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 I love paintball, mostly speedball, but woodsball is great too. I've had two guns, Spyder AMG and Dye DM3 Ironmen edition. The Matrix is by far my favorite gun.
DeI 18 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2006 I got a bit bored, so I took a few pics of my gun and thought I'd share. Let me know what you think. :)
Langenbrunner15 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2006 I have shot a paintball gun before! But I don't think it's worth the $400+ on the gun and everything because I wouldn't be obsessed with it. I would much rather buy anything hockey related with that money or even something fishing related since I live on a lake and love fishing..
Roach 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2006 I was just beginning to get into it, but I didn't have the cash for everything so I saved up and just bought much needed (and wanted) hockey equipment. PS - I was looking into getting a Smart Parts Ion with some mod boards as my first gun. 2 TPS Redlites and 1 Salming G10 shaft feel much, much better in my hands now :D
t1tan 19 Report post Posted June 13, 2006 i've played since the day i turned 10, another month that will be 10 years, but recently have given it up due to money issues, ive owned several highend guns, the last i've had was an Angel iR3, today not considered much, but I liked it, whenever I get back into it, I'm going with a Dye DM6( or 7 or 8 or whatever is out by the time I get back into it)

kukakid 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2006 I used to play quite a bit but I haven't played at all recently. I bought an 03 Smart Parts Shocker 2 years ago and have only used it about 5 times.Sometimes I really want to play again but I don't really see myself getting back into it.
