1800 Faceoff Affiliation?

I was wondering is 1800 Faceoff just another web outlet for Perani's Hockey World. I called there after hours once and got a voicemail that said it was Perani's Hockey World. Just wondering how they are related.

I often wonder the same thing about certain businesses...in hockey, or other industries. Their web pages look very similar, or their specials happen to be the same thing...or they are the ONLY place I can find a certain item on close out. If the truth was known, I wonder how many of the online shops out there are actually independant businesses.

From personal experience, I used to own an Internet based car audio business. I was 100% legit, but truthfully, I was just a re-seller. I stocked 0 inventory. My customers never knew the difference. My "suppliers", who were actually my "competition" as well, would either ship the items to me and then I would re-ship, or they would drop ship for me.

So when I call a hockey store and try to order something and they "don't offer overnight shipping", it makes me wonder. Why else would you refuse this. It is just a chance to make more money...unless you don't have the item on hand, even though your site says you do stock it.
