if the oilers are still in the running come trade deadline time im sure there will be at least one big name d-man on the trading block and with all the first and second round picks they own im sure they could work something out. theyre definitely not getting a player like pronger but some other stable d-man or two should work on top of spacek (whom they desperately need to resign now) and staois. carolina had no stud defenders like pronger but they got it done.
