Bauer 1/90's

I was in my local National Sports this morning and checked out the new Bauer 1/90's. I was very impressed with them. They seem to have gone to a hardshell concept similar to the Easton Synergy skatess and seem much more durable than their old XX's and XXX's. Tried on a pair and found them much more of a comfortable fit than the traditional old Supreme line. More room in the midfoot and toe area and a nice snug but comfortable fit on both sides of the foot. I fit comfortably into a 7.5 E in these babies where normally I'd need a EE width. A nice stiff skate and very light to boot. I give it a 9 out of 10 on the quality scale. They still don't sport the excellent comfort of my RBK 8K's however, which is just about the only thing Bauer will need to work on. I find them a big improvement from their diasterous Vapor line. You'll need a few bucks to buy these puppies because they are up there with some of the most expensive presently on the market.
