LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 Ive got it narrowed down between mission l5's and the easton stealth s5 pants. Which one of these pants are less bulky? Which is the better value? Are there any other pants in this price range I should be looking at?
Forsberg for life 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 I'm buying new pants soon and I narrowed it down to the Stealth S5's and the nike/bauer xx lite. I understand that the xx lites have more protection and are more money, but the S5's seem to be more durable. I would say go with the xx lites if you have more money. Are there any other pants in this price range I should be looking at? I like the fact that the L5 is adjustable in terms of length, it makes it easier to get a good fit. Most models have zippers available for an extra couple bucks. Depends on what your shop orders.
Edge 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2006 I wear S9s and we carry S5s in the shop also. Everyone who has gotten the stealth pants have liked them a lot. Out of those two I'd get the S5. Probably the most popular pant here for the 75-80$ is the 692 pant. They aren't bulky at all, so maybe look into those also.
LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2006 Right now I have ccm's 852's and I used to like them but after trying to play in them again they are the biggest bulkiest things ive ever put on. I was thinking about going for the stealths because I rember trying on some easton air pants like 2 years ago and they felt amazing plus they have zippers. The the biggest features that attracted me to the l5 was the liner that supposedly keeps you 3 degrees celsus cooler and the feature to make them shorter or longer. LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Ive decided to go for eastons. Is there a huge difference between the s5 and the s9? I have the money to go for either pant but just reading what epuck had to say about each pant they seemed pretty simmiliar.
Forsberg for life 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 There isnt a whole lot of differnce between the two pants, the S9"s are more protective than the S5's. I used the S5's last night and I had great freedom in them, great protection.

LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 For the people with the eastons these pants dont make you look huge from the waist down do they? My ccm 852s make it look like im wearing two pairs of pants lol.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 For the people with the eastons these pants dont make you look huge from the waist down do they? My ccm 852s make it look like im wearing two pairs of pants lol. I had some 862s that I got from Perellis years ago and I hated them so much that I gave them away. The x52 pants from those years really sucked compared to the x20 series or the new ones.
