EBondo 233 Report post Posted July 22, 2006 When I went last year to the show in Camden, NJ, it was all over the place, mainly the parking lots. I forget how many stages there were, but it was close to 10. There was a stage inside for the lesser-known bands, and that one had seats. All-in-all it was a great time, minus the 98 degree weather we had then. I must have spent 50 bucks just on Powerade alone. Dropkick Murphys and Atreyu killed it with the last performances, and there was a HUGE circle pit around the sound booth. But it was a good time, crowd surfing, moshing, it was fun. I'm probably going back this year.
BK 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I have been every year except this year. Its a big punk concert with a LOT of bands (the one here in SLC has like 6 stages). There are booths and other stuff to do too and its a steal for ~30 dollars a ticket. I didnt go this year because its an outdoor concert and the temps were going to be over 100 today.last few years were really good though.

Fire0nIce228 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 I was at warped in Pitt last year. I dunno if you've ever been to the ampitheater, but yes they do have bands playing on the ampitheater stage where you can sit up in the grass or just go down and sit in the seats, if there are any open (depends whos playing on that stage). Most of the action though is at the stages set up in the back parking lots, where you could look down the lot and see 4 stages. They also had a stage ontop of the hill at the back of the ampitheater, and down in the theater they'd have two sets set up, so while one band was playing the other was setting up and they just kept the bands rolling through there all day long, where as at the other stages there would be little breaks. Theres plenty of tents to buy shirts and stuff, last year there was a myspace tent, plenty of free condoms, and some other stuff to do.It was definately a blast, you'll see some weird stuff so be prepared. I'm going to go this year, its so much fun. Be ready for mosh pits, crowd surfing, all that crap, and if you don't like it dont go because people are constantly doing stuff like that.Food is super expensive, last year i spent 16 bucks for two bottles of pop and two personal pan pizzas from a pizza hut booth (Ya know, the little like 6 or 7 inch pizzas that take about 3 seconds to eat) and most shirts were 20-25 for a T-shirt.Theres an autograph booth and stuff, last year Hawthorne Heights signed, for the entire line, which was cool.I dont know whos playing this year but for 30 dollars in one day I saw Hawthorne, Fall Out Boy, My Chem Romance, Atreyu, and during intermissions I could hear Reliant K and The Offspring playing because the stages were so close. Its an experience and a super fun day. Stay hydrated!!

Be ready for mosh pits, crowd surfing, all that crap, and if you don't like it dont go because people are constantly doing stuff like that. I witnessed the crowd surfing first-hand. During Fall Out Boy, someone just threw me up and off I went...And then later that night, during Dropkick Murphys a girl tried to crowd surf, no one caught her, and she was knocked out instantly. Next thing I know was a bunch of fat, drunk dudes running past me holding her up in the air
hockeytim18 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 Don't worry about me seeing that stuff. I've been to Ozzfest the last 3 years in a row. 2 great things. A dude was crowd surfing during Bleeding Through on 2nd stage and there was a gate we were behind that was a walkway so people couldn't get to the crowd. Anyways I was at the gate and we dropped the guy and on his head we went. Then a guy tried to jump the fence there 2 like i said its a walkway. He fell over the first one face first. Black eye bleeding head and scraped everywhere. Both hillarious.
