Help to identify this curve

Recommended Posts

the retail curves are named simply for marketing. If a player is hyped or has a great year he gets a retail curve.

weird how the retail stick with a players name and the real mccoy are no where close eh?

This is nothing new in this business. It has been this way for OVER 25 years.

Guys, that is DEFINITELY A TPS MORROW!!!!!!!! :o It has a square toe (Matches Morrow), a long blade (Matches Morrow), is a heel curve (Matches Morrow), is very open (Matches Morrow). So all I am saying is if you want the perfect curve, get a Morrow, because it is a 6 lie which should work well for him since he hates high lies.

Holy shit dude.....he's looking for a mid, morrow is a heel, and the curve pictured is about twice as deep as a morrow. Every morrow i've seen has almost been a square toed Drury of sorts, with a 5.5 lie.

Uhm, no, no it's not. As noted, a blind man could make more informed decisions on a visual thing that some people.

And 6 is somewhat high, 5-5.5 is normal. Trying to justify a purchase by any chance?

Where's Mack when you need him?

I'll pull my best mack impersonation, albeit a really bad one and just say the guy should just get a forsberg/modano to match what he's looking for.

I've fallen victim to buying a mystery curve...except that I like it. So far.

Can anyone identify it for me?

I've only got a Lidstrom and Iginla to compare it to. It's nothing like the Iginla, and the Lidstrom's curve (and openness) starts further back toward the heel.

Thanks! And looks like there's a lot of info on this board about that pattern.

I think what I like about it is that there is a fair bit of nearly-neutral blade before the wedge at the end.
