VaporXXX skates,fit the same as 98 Supreme 5000's?

I have a pair of 98 Supreme 5000's that are a size 11.5. I was wondering if someone could tell me if they would fit the same as an 11.5 pair of Vapor XXX's? or would I need a different size?

They are going to fit different as one is in the Vapor line and one in the Supreme line. other than that I cant tell you how different they will fit, one of the more knowledgeable members will help you out.

I went from '99 7000's to XX's in the same size (9.0D) with no problem. I would think that the 5000's are close to the 7000's. Of course, if you can try them on that is the best bet.

you should go to a GOOD LHS and make sure you are in the right size to start.

You might walk out of the store with a way smaller size skate than you thought you were. If you like the supreme skate you had before check out the supreme 70.. you might like it.

off topic sort of (still a sizing thing though). I saw on your website that people can send a pic of their foot for advice on fitting. If I was to send pics, along with dimensions, could you recommend a good skate for my foot, size and the likes, in the $250ish range.

The LHS in my area are pretty limited in their suppliers (through no fault of their own, it just doesn't make financial sense to carry a wide supply for small demand).

But I am interested in maybe getting help with the right boot, and have heard great things about east/west hockey.

Looking for a mid level skate, or higher end from a couple of years ago

Not sure if you got skates yet forgot to read the date. The diffrent outsole on the XXX means there is almost a half size more in overall room in that skate I would start a size smaller and go from there. Also check your insoles now and if your foot isnt at the end start even smaller for every 1/4 inch on your insole add a half size. So if your wearing the 11.5 and there is a half inch of room go down 2 sizes to start! I1 for the fit of the boot and 1 size for the misfit of the present skates!
