I wasn't trying to say he would come in and be the best player what I was trying to say was that during the Olympics he was one of the better players on the russian team filled with NHL stars. The point I was trying to make was this kid is the real deal and he will be a good player. I was not saying he will step in and become a Joe Sakic or Peter Forsberg as a rookie and I agree that he is by far the best player not in the NHL

I totally agree with you. He is the kind of player that can change a game in one shift.

From what I have seen of the guy, he'll kick ass when he hits the NHL no doubt. He's well-rounded and can either be an amazing playmaker or an efforless goal scorer. Lemieux is a great comparison to the way he plays.

I like the Yashin comparison better. He'll have a few 90 point seasons and he'll score his fair share of goals but he will never be a guy you'll want on your team. We can wait and see though, I may be wrong.

edge is right he will be great he was one of the best players on the Russan team for the olympics and he isnt in the NHL yet. He really just has to keep his temper down and not kick guys or take stupid penalties

Will he be as good for an NHL team as he is for the Russian national team? Only way to find out is to wait at least two years to know for sure.

I've seen him play a half dozen times, he's good, but not great.

Keep in mind some scouts had him overtaking AO as the best prospect before this season began.

The two weeks notice thing is BS and not realistic. If it was that easy, he would be here already.

I guess we'll see him in 2007 unless this is all a negotiating ploy.
