For some reason every pair of gloves, shin pads, and elbow pads I have ever had end up smelling terrible but the rest of my equipment remains odorless. Now why are only those few pieces of equipment smelling I awalys air out my stuff after playing. Also is there anything I can do to save my stuff?

Do you wear a short sleeved shirt and compression short/jock while playing? The shirt would prevent your shoulder pads from getting as sweaty and a comp short/jock combo would do the same for your pants.

Exactly...keep in mind whatever piece of equipment you wear where your skin directly touches will smell more. I wear a long sleeved shirt and leggings so none of the equipment directly touches my skin, and I have no bacteria or odor problems.

BACTERIA. :o The hands, feet and shins sweat more than other parts of the body because they have more sweat glands. The sweat glands in the "crotch" area emit a different kind of sweat. You got to kill the the bacteria to keep the odors down. Airing out prevents the colony from spreadings but doesn't kiil what's there. You have to use a bacteriacide or other method.

I dont wear any underarmour or anything (started playing roller, where it was too hot then never used it for ice either) and i rarely have my kit smell that bad.

I used to wear a long sleve underarmour and that didnt really help to much. I tried making some of the 50 percent wintergreen rubbing alcohol and 50 percent peroxide and spraying it on my stuff and hopefully that will help. Lol i thought it was smelling badly because some of my stuff had a shitty liner in it or soemthing.
