Chadd 916 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 Is this their website?www.puckskin.ca?Looks like they need more people talking up their products and paying. Long story there. The guys who own puckskin don't own that website, and the guy who does own that site isn't involved in the company anymore.Use the "normal" site.http://www.puckskin.com/
asdfa 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 why do you guys even bothering using a layer? am I missing something here?I just put the gear in the nude...works for me...I've tried helly hansel under garments for cold weather, made me too hot, adn I've tried under armor type short sleeve shirts, and didn't find it was beneficial...just wondering if there's something I am missingMy equipment sometimes chafes, especially my skates along my ankles and elbow pad straps if they get knocked loose a bit. also, i feel disgusting if i don't wear a layer and have to sit between periods for a flood and i find a layer helps keep the equipment a bit fresher
Patrick67 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 Yeah, I understand that. But why not use the "hot" weather leggins instead of the immensely warm "cold" weather ones?

But why not use the "hot" weather leggins instead of the immensely warm "cold" weather ones?because it gets cold in ny? apparently, the marathon bikers who train all year round (including in very cold temps) wear heat gear with cold gear under it. the heat to pull the moisture, & cold to keep them warm. AnthonyJTa 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2006 I'm sure I sound pretty stupid asking this... I just got a pair of compression pants, now should I wear my neoprene knee brace over the pants?? ...
mills 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2006 That'd probably be best. You might have to worry about slippage but I'm not sure what kind of brace it is so I hope it works for you.
gtoddh 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2006 I'm sure I sound pretty stupid asking this... I just got a pair of compression pants, now should I wear my neoprene knee brace over the pants?? ...When I had to wear one for a time, I found that my knee brace slid around too much on the outside of my pants. I had to wear it on the inside. The neoprene doesn't get the same kind of "grip" against the pants as it does against skin. YMMV.
vic9 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2007 I just got an underarmor loose fit "like cotton" under tee. I love it. I have always played with a cotton tee under my jersey so the transition was nice. Plus this one doesn't get weighed down when I sweat.Where's a good place to get less expensive tee's that are like these UA tech "like cotton" shirts? I think someone mentioned Target but I don't have those stores near me. Any other brands or places have something like this?
