im having a hard time deciding on which stick/shaft to get. i've heard many rumours about the 1100s twisting on you while shooting and making ur shots less accurate, and i've also heard that cutting a fused novius is tricky to turn it into a shaft. so i'm all confused on which one performs better, lasts longer, and is easily versatile with other brands blades

I found the Novius twisted more than the 1100, standard shafts only. I never used the OPS or tapered.

My standard Novius definitely twists a lot but both my tapereds twist very little. It's not entirely torque free like a XN10 but it's not enough for my shots to feel sloppy at all.

can you chop the blade off of a novius fused to make it a standard shaft? tapered blades n shafts arent doing too well down here, so its hard to find them

You coud flip it over, I've never had a Novius and prefer tapered shafts, but I've cut other OPS up high enough to fit standard blades in so I dont see why this would be any different

i was just thinking that that boron spine might make things tricky when you cut it. when i got my synergy grip, i cut it pretty close to the hosel of the blade, and just flipped it over so i saved as much shaft as possible, and from there i cut it down to the right height.
