Does the Wild have a team store? You might be able to find some there. I was in CHI last weekend and picked up a pair of Blackhawks shells from HawkQuarters. $10, and in pretty good condition...

Ebay for the ducks shells. Currently there are two auctions for Bauer pants which I believe are two piece models. you can take the bottom part, remove the thigh pads and use it as a great shell.

That might have been the bottom half of a 2 piece pant that you saw with zippers.
