I've heard that Chelios rides a stationary bike in a sauna.  Which is crazy if you've ever been in a sauna.

Cheli is a beast. The workouts he was doing during his cup party were just unreal.

I doubt that 500 pounds is the highest in the league.  I can squat 415 and I rarely work out and I'm only 180lbs.

I don't believe you or your technique is very poor. It's impossible if you don't train. + if that is true you would do much more at the leg press.

I saw his post before he edited it and he said something like 325, not 415. So that's why i think it's bullshit too

It was 375. And I don't care what you think.

You obviously don't know how to squat you tool, why don't you try going down more than 2 inches.

that's what a squat looks like.

Kovy, you better bring a tape recorder and record every single thing that Poliquin says. Do you know how much his services are worth with his prcing? You are very fortunate. You better make it to the show now!

and the butter story is probally Charles Poliquin too. He considers all his athletes with a bf% over 10 fat.

good post hockeychamp, + someone who never squat like Meathead rarely has the good technique.

What's the point of posting Ronnie Coleman videos here? I don't get it.

proper squat techniqe

I'm sure this guy is on roids.

Hey, is it Meathead behing Coleman? ;)

Are you sure? I mean he's a pro bodybuilder....

Kovy, so what if he's on roids, HGH, and a boatload of other drugs?

That coleman squat could be lower. That's not a full squat, or parallel for that matter. None of those would have passed at a competition. ---- actually to be honest, they might, but it's so damn hard to tell because of his absolutely enormous quads. Not that I could do that with 800 pounds, the guy is still strong as heck.

Sakic, Roberts, St.Louis, Lecavalier are always very well

I'm training with the conditionning coach who train Roberts right now. The training is really something I've never done before. Very sport specific training to hockey.

By the way, Gary Roberts resting heart rate is 43 which is very good for a guy his size.

Gary Roberts is a work out freak...his off season schedule would give a Marine a workout. It's very strange mix of tradition weghts etc...but he also does lots of stuff on his own...kinda like the Rocky 4 scene where Drago has the state-iof-the-art gym, and Rock is throwing huge boulders in the barn...and running up hills.

Same kind of thing...I saw something on TSN I think a couple years ago...

yeah thats worked out pretty well for him
