Perhaps you can Photoshop it further for them and get some better graphics on there because they should definitely fire whoever came up with that atrocity. Maybe they should hire you since you're all so tight with them.

I hear you guys about that being an ugly stick, but its kinda funny how in some threads we rip on people choosing skates because they are more attractive, yet here we rip on a stick because its ugly. And we really know nothing about the stick other than the fact Ethan Moreau used it until he blew his shoulder out.

And really I can't consider Gretzky a great endorsement for a stick. He hasn't played for what 7 or 8 years? Not a ringing endorsement "Hey its the best stick to use when dumping pucks into the corner for break out drills!"

Plus wasn't Gretzky about the least picky player ever when it came to sticks? He probably could have put a 2G 3A game with a Nothland...

Im not tight with them at all, I just asked for more info and some pictures of the stick.

Maybe the stick is photoshopped into Gretzky's hands I dont know, Im just posting what I got from them. I agree the stick doesnt have the best graphics and they definately could of choose a better background color.

So are you admitting you won't use that stick simply because its ugly? Even if Moreau comes back from the shoulder injury and pops 25 in the playoffs? The almighty Mack is vain?

I won't use it because I have no need to use it. You're the one that flew to the conclusion that I wouldn't use it based on look when I was merely commenting on how low-end it looks. None of my work is on display in a museum but I'm handy with a can of spray paint so looks are of little importance to me with a stick. Hell, I'm using Dolomites.

I'd use one of those Odyssey Putters (a'la Happy Gilmore) taped to a broomstick if I could score goals consistently.

Aesthetics/Cosmetics are so unimportant - why do people make comments about them so much? - it's functionality that matters.

I use Flyweights that are so beat up looking that you would all likely laugh at them - but who cares?

As for the Compro - live they look not bad (graphics aside) the Yellow really stands out - I thought it was a Koho Revolution at first.

I'll save my judgement of any new gear until I have the chance to make an INFORMED opinion thanks...

Yeah, I heard he was pretty bad. He would use one stick for each period, and at times during his career, would use stiffer sticks or shorter sticks depending on the situation. I think Lemieux did something like that too. As did Hull.

a lot of guys have special sticks for special situations... like special curves for critical face offs (i know doug weight does this) more open faces for close net play, im sure guys have shoot-out sticks now (and more than one length/pattern).
