Bauer 7000/8000/vapor 10 skates

Im desperate and if anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Im looking for a pair of 10.5D bauer 7000 or 8000 boots. If anybody knows of any retailers or websites that might still have these then please reply to this post. Also I would be interested in finding an old pair of vapor 10 skates in a 10.5EE as well if anybody knows who might have these as well. I apologize if this has been posted already but the search engine and me dont really get along (I got post about everything except 7000/8000 skates when i tried). thanks in advance.

Funny, a kid came into the shop today with a brand spanking new pair of Vap10's, gray holders and the black steel with the diamonds. He wanted to put lightspeeds on them and I did my best to talk him out of it but to no avail. Those 10's had the best steel ever. He bought them at a local hockey store, old new stock. Keep searching, you will find some. I wouldn't bother with the internet sites, rather search old established stores in hockey country and you will likely find some.

There's a store in Long Island called "'Plaza Skate and Surf" that still has Vapor 10s and lists them on ebay regularly. They also list an email address to check on sizes.

Have been looking for the Vapor 10s all over the US...found a pair today at Outpost Ice Arena in New Mexico (ABQ). Only have 7 and 7.5 left for $230

For the 8000, only online place I have seen is Athletic Sports:

7000s? Only place seen right now is ebay. Outpost in ABQ told me they had some too.

On the subject of these skates, hopefully people saw Max Afinogenov look like a cruise missile in Vapor 10's during the Buffalo - Philly game and realize they don't need super light skates after all.

Don't be fooled by these skates, they are relatively light, even lighter than many current models. As discussed in sooo many threads, if someone is in great physical condition, a couple of oz is not going to make any difference in performance.

Hey, thanks for the plug... FYI, we do have some 7000s and Vapor 10s online too -- but only very limited sizes left.
