Vapor VIII

Looking for a new stick, I've got a fairly low budget, is this a good price point stick or should I find something else??

I had a Vapor VII and was not very impressed with it. I think the VIII is priced around $85 USD, and for $15 more you can get a Vapor XXX from Hockey Giant which is a far better stick. That is what I am using right now and the difference in performance is night and day.

a teammate has the vapor VIII and it seems as though the blade is actually a composite, as opposed to the VII's abs blade. I don't see it being much more than the Vapor V or VI, both of which can be had for around $50-60 nowadays. The V and VI were actually better than the VII.

I'll second the suggestion for the XXX though, if they've got your pattern/flex in stock. great stick.

I have a vapor VIII I hate it i find it bulky and off balanced. If i where you i would save more money and go for something better like a vapor XX

To answer the question, yes the VIII is a good price point stick and will likely be more durable than the higher priced models. While the VAPXXX from HG is a good deal, since you are on a budget, don't forget the extra $15 shipping/handling charges and tack that on to the final price. Still a good price for that stick, but perhaps over your budget.
