Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 I was at my LHS today and saw easton C8 skates, i didn't know what they were but they looked as if they were a top of the line skate (but i don't think so). I tried them on they were very light and comfortable. So i'm wondering if these are price point skates or good quality? And if anyone has them and their opinions. And yes i searched, but i don't think i know how to work the search tool :P.

Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 But it has the coil technology which i'm pretty sure the 555, 800, 1100 etc. don't have.

Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 So has anyone tried these skates or know if they're any good? They seem to be good quality but not the comfiest skates.
BK 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 The skates are SMU's. Made to fill the pricepoint between the 800c and the 900.I'm not sure about the stick, but I have heard that they are just old model UL's repainted to look like the new ones.

Because i've seen ULs painted like the SLs, not syn 2's.
