kosydar 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Walkin in Memphis-Lonestar (or Elvis for the Older crowd) Its by Marc Cohn. It talks about seeing the ghost of dead Elvis, kinda doubt he'd sing that about himself.

Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Knockin on heavens door (i forgot who sang it, my apologies) Bob Dylan wrote the song for a movie called "Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid," but a number of other artists have covered it. The most notable versions are by Eric Clapton and Guns 'n' Roses, although the most poignant version might be by Warren Zevon who knew he had only a few months to live, so he assembled a group of friends (Springsteen, Henly, Joe Walsh, Ry Cooder) to help him with his last album. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 I'll tell you what is NOT a Top 5 song: anything off the new Who album.Boy, was that disappointing. They've always been one of my favorite bands, but that album was actually pretty boring. Maybe two songs could be classified as rockers, which is what The Who are obviously known for.
