mattopiela

sherwood momentum txd one piece stick

So I can get two of these for pretty cheap. The stick felt nice when I held it in the store. I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on these sticks who has used them (durability, one ice feel etc).

Thanks !

I'd also be interested to know how the puck feel was on the TXD as I have rescued a broken one that I will be converting into a shaft.

that would basically be the XD shaft... I've had one for a few weeks now, and I likey. I likey a lot. I'm using a composite blade (A Sherwood XD blade) and I'm not liking the feel of the blade... I'm going to be daring, anf try.....*gasp* WOOD!

I got mine two months ago and there is no softening of the blade or loss of flex in the shaft, the feel is also good. I play about 5 times a week and it has held up great. Like you the price was great so i got two. It is one of my favorite sticks.

I have one, the stick reminds me alot of the synergy st. Paid 50$ for mine, and at that price there isn't any other stick that offers the same performance. It's a very good stick.

i have a TXD team-stick (modano pro-stock), similar to the retail modano curve but with a more square toe. The shaft is labeled 85flex, but it feels stiffer.. It had great feel, but the blade went soft pretty fast and started to make cracking noises. So, i cut the blade off to fit a tapered blade..

I actually like the shaft better when combined with a 950 tapered blade than as a ops
