thorton is more like an yzerman curve big curve, shoot high wrist shots in my case. recchi is a smaller curve better for back hands and shot doesnt go as wild.

I'm still getting used to how they describe blades. What is the difference between curve depth and curve size?

You are wrong. Look at it this way, a Drury is a 1/2" curve. just like a Lidstrom. Because the curve on the Lidstrom is more "C" shaped, it is considered to be a "deeper" curve.

So, let me test my understanding, curve depth is the distance from the hosel in a straight line back to a line parallel with the part of the curve the furthest back?

Whereas curve size just measures how "big" the curve is.

If you had a curve that did not go behind the hosel, it would have 0 curve depth?

I would describe depth as shape (as Chadd pointed out) and curve size as a measurement in inches. If you draw a straight line from the heel to the toe, the distance from that line is the curve size. Alternatively, if you were to lay your stick on the ground so the face of the blade is facing down, you could measure the size of the curve with a ruler. At least that is how I think of it.
