Bauer 5000 question

Ive done it, although you have to watch for that dripping paint, its not a pleasant touch.

And all you need for the stickers is a putty knife, heating those up too would make the job go quicker.

And I agree too, helmets with nothing on them look pretty raw.

Well, one of the guys in our shop has used the chemical Methyl Ethyl Ketone or M.E.K. and he just pours some on a rag and it rubs right off without leaving any stains or it won't turn a black helmet white or distort the color. Does the stuff does smell a bit funky but won't make your helmet smell (even though it probably already does).

does the helmet still have imprints of the logos?

Im not talking about the stickers, I mean the bauer logos and such

None from what I can recall. If it does you can always take a sharpie and just glaze it. It would still have the no logo effect, and its not like youve got people pickin up your helmet and lookin at the specs.
