wow, that was great! while i was looking through you tube stuff, i also saw a bunch of the Crosby and Ovechkin videos...........holy crap, those boys can play! especially ovechkin....have you seen his 32nd goal of last season against phoenix? man, that one definantly had some luck involved, but still was sweet.

I liked his interview after the game....very low key.

Not intending to 'jack the thread...but...

Way back when I first saw that it took me while to figure out was was "different" about the Ottawa "look"...After watching it 4-5 times (becasue the goal was freakin' amazing)...I realzed...Black helmets with white jerseys....it's a good look.

Football wears the same helmets home & away...why not hockey.

Puttin it between your legs and scoring doesn't astound me. Hell, Makik did it! It's the smoothness by which he executed the whole thing is what is really good. The other video during the exhibition where he kicks it off his back heel and then one hands it in, amazing. So smooth and fluid. Great hands.

A couple seasons old but I love it. Obviously isn't on par with a DatsyukianDeke but not everyone can pull his moves :lol:

Forgot to comment on the Vermette skillz comp goal..

It really isn't that impressive in my opinion. The first move wasn't necessary at all in order to fake the goalie out. The "Forsberg move" has been done many times, its a very pretty move if you pull it off, if not you look like a douche.

I consider both of these moves, the second one specifically, more impressive then Vermettes attempt: Schremp goal

Me and my friend were trying that move behind both legs at a stick and puck and it is soooo much harder than it looks. To be honest i didnt think it looked that hard, but when i tried it i looked like a complete idiot...
