no i didn't i just searched and found it, couldn't find koivu's though.

I think that is the same move...or very similar...that Koivu used in the SO last week (Philly I think)...It's working for him.

koivus move was very close to this:

Yes very similar...but I find that Koivu always waits to the last possible second to make the move and then its like he has to stuff it past the goalie...where as Dats starts the move really early...but sells it SO well that the goalie can't possibly get back in position and then he has the tap into the open net.

Both ways seem to be effective...and I can't do either *L*

You can't discredit Souray at all because he scored, but that goal wasn't that impressive to me; don't say it is Leafs bias either because Koivu did scord a very nice goal with that misdirection turning of the hips. Personally, I just don't see what is so great about something that will never work again now that the shock factor is off and everyone is clued in.

Bouillon's right jab was priceless. And Tucker stands there for 30 seconds without his gloves off!! Does Tucker even fight with his wife?

First off, that was an amazing game. I had to leave and I missed the last 8 minutes of the third, OT, and shootout, but the first two and a half periods felt like a playoff game for sure. And about the Tucker punch... Bullion punched him as soon as the ref tied Tucker up. He got him good though. Its funny because thats the exact move you all accuse Tucker of using whenver he fights.

It's spelled "shootout".

Bouillon didn't know Tucker was tied up by the Linesman, but it was cheap and he should've gotten the 5 and an instigator. For whatever reason it wasn't deemed fighting on his part even though he dropped his gloves, went after Tucker and was throwing punches. Hopefully the punch smartens Tucker up a little bit though.

What was with Komisarek and why was he even allowed on the ice last night? All this guy did was ride Sundin shift after shift. So much for the NNHL.

D-Star - He fought last week. The Leafs were up 2-0 at this point and he didn't want to take a penalty especially against a #6 D-man. I think he should've fought, but he pulls this act every once in a while.

Oops.... Ya know what's funny...shoutout or shootout didn't turn up the goal when I searched...but when you do find it (Sheldon Souray Goal btw...) the poster has it as shutout goal...

[EDIT] Upon further review...I ACTUALLY typed shoutout THREE time in this thread...All have been fixed...and I feel shame.

Easy,

If you are going to run a guy, in the first minute or last minute, and the guy gets up throwing his gloves at you, drop yours because if you don't you just might get a jab in the kisser. And that is what happened. FB was still pissed so he doesn't care or bother to notice if Tucker is tied up by the linesman. How many times do guys keep at it even when the liney is stepping in to break it up and has a hold of a player?

You're missing the point. It's pretty well exactly what Tucker wanted. The Refs just blew the call. Toronto should've came out with a PP (likely a 5), but the opted not to call it a fight even though Bouillon was without gloves and throwing punches. It's like the Refs were pissed that Tucker put them in that position and screwed around with the calls for a bit. I heard it got better after I left for hockey though.

Yes, I saw the last 10 minutes of the third to the end of the shoot-out. Great gutsy job by Saku. There was also a 3-on-1 led by Kovy where he totally fouled up with the puck and blew it. Leafs fans have to be pissed looking at 2 points with 10 to go on the road and end up with just 1, thanks to the OT. The Bell Center is noisy like the old days in the Forum. God, I miss the Forum, the St. Peter's Basilica of Hockey.

NHL investigating the Bell Center since they aren't doing the ice for the SO fairly apperantly.

Petty complaint in my eyes, I wouldn't even bother.

Paul Maurice said after the game on saturday that the zamboni guy only passed the knife on the Habs side and did not put any water on it. Apparently it happenned the other time the Leafs played the Habs and that he told the refs to bring the Zamboni back and that they did not do so.

Bouillon's not the type of guy to sucker punch anyone, even tucker. He would not have knocked tucker if this bitch didn't start hitting him in the face with his gloves has soon has the ref arrived.

Drop your gloves if you want to fight or go away if you don't, just don't put your gloves in the other guy's face or....your nose may suffer.

It's actually Bouillon who hits Tucker once the refs are there. The clip is on YouTube if you want to clarify.

Keep in mind that Tucker was involved, so hes automatically guilty based on his reputation.
