Here is the thing I don't like about the execution of the move: he takes out the goalie! Watch him end up spinning into Khaby. How does Khaby stop the move when PM is throwing his butt right into Khaby's face in the crease? Refs caught napping. Great move but final execution a bit suspect.

I thought the same thing when I saw the highlight on the news last night. How was that not goalie interference?

What I find curious is that it appears Khabibulin didn't raise much of a fuss.

Haha, his brother did the same move in the Quebec junior major league couple of weeks ago. He missed it though.

Great goal!!!

P.M. said his brother taught him the move this summer.

But not, IIRC, before the goal went in. Anyways, I guess my point was that if anyone would be charging interference, it would have been the goalie - or his coach.

Absolutely it was interference but the league wants excitement so just about anything is going to count in the shootout.

isnt that illegal because he made a turn!!!???

they haven't been calling it that way. ryan shannon has done it too.

& cullen does a lot of 'pull up' shootout wrist shot attempts.
