RBK/CCM Mid Flex

Recommended Posts

All the RBK and CCM mid flex sticks/shafts I have seen are in Intermediate dimensions, with a smaller radius. Do they make shafts with SR. dimensions in a lower flex than their regular? With the extra length THC uses on sticks and shafts, cutting sticks for my height gives me more than a 100 flex stick (I'm 5'9")

Go for a TPS whip flex. Youll have to cut it less, and you will still keep the flex. It is senior dimensions.

Im in the same boat as you. Sucks to be small

aint that the truth. I have my Vector 10.0 stick intermediate with Mid flex... couldnt get one lower. i cut maybe 4 inches off it, and it's not as whippy as i'd like. but then again i was using senior wood sticks and cutting almost a foot off of them. It was like shooting with a 2 by 4

Yeah, I'm in the same boat - uncut, the RBK/CCM intermediates are the right length. I would have to lop off 4 inches on the SR models, which would increase the flex about 13.8%, giving me a 108 flex stick, for a regular and a 119 for stiff.

If you can find the ccm/rbk light flexes, then your good to go.

i have yet to find a ccm/rbk stick and or shaft at my lhs's that is light flex :(

Im about 5'11"-6" and I add about a 2-3" Extension to most of my sticks, except RBK/CCM sticks.

I'm 5'10" - my best shooting stick is my ST, which measures about 57" from heel to butt. I generally try to make my sticks to be about that length.

I would have to cut 4" off a 90ish flex RBK/CCM stick to get the proper length because they have the feature of having no butt end. However, the lower flex mid (i still would have to cut 1" or so) is MUCH narrower and feels very toy like in my hands.

I wish Bauer or Easton heard my cries and made an affordable low flex shaft (RBK 4k being defined as affordable).

shaft? or OPS? Easton makes a Cyclone shaft in 70 flex, but ut's also a smaller shape. nice and round though.

easton will be making a sr. sized 75 flex this year, and NBH makes 77, as mentioned earlier in the thread.

If you LHS doesn't stock something, talk to someone who works there, they should be able to order it for you.
