Itech neoprene shinguard straps

Recommended Posts

A few years ago I had a set of Itech neoprene shinguard straps that I absolutely loved. The neoprene was nice and thick and held the guards very snug. I searched all over the internet to find anyone that has any but no luck. ePuck used to carry them but no longer do. I believe that the ones they carry (as does Kemp's Hockey) might be thinner and are just elastic and not neoprene.

If any one knows where they can be found, PLEASE let me know!!

Grazie!

Dave

Those Itech straps are the BEST. Nothing holds your shinnys in place better. I'm on my last set, I'll be pissed when they wear out.

I've been using neoprene knee sleeves for a long time... just the other day, i thought I'd put two of my oldest (and most stretched ones) to hold the shin guards in place... holy shite, super snug! Am cutting the old straps off my shinnys now.

These straps vs. regular tape over the sock...winner?

I'm a traditionalist, so I've always used tape. I never wanted to be that guy with the elastic velcro straps with neon on the socks.

I haven't used tape on my shin pads in years. Always bought the elastic velcro shin straps. I hear that the neoprene straps are the best you can get though. Wouldn't mind picking up a few pair once my elastic ones are done.

Under the socks, never over. That's for pond rockets.
