I'm going to get a new stick very soon, and was trying to decide between the Bauer Vapor XXX Lite and the Warrior Mac Daddy. I was wondering which stick you guys think is better. My fall back option, if i decide the Mac Daddy is too expensive is the Dolomite, then it would be XXX Lite vs. Dolomite. Which stick do you guys like more?

I have a vaporxxx lite and it is the best stick I have ever owned. It takes a few skates to get used to it. This is because it has a feel for the puck like nothing I have ever used and I have used many sticks. (Sl's stealths, stealth cnt's, ST etc.) Some question its durability which I can not really attest for because I have owned it for about a month. It has been fine besides paint scratches and some little chips. But If you are someone like me who doesnt really break sticks a lot I would definitly get this. Great feel on ur passes, catching passes and snap shots.

Just like a lot of the debates that go on here, it all depends on what you're looking to get out of your stick.

I owned a number of Inno True-1s (Warrior Mac-Daddy) and liked them a lot. The feel of the stick is unmatched by any OPS I've used (and I've used a lot). They were good sticks that held-up for awhile. If you're looking for a stick that is going to last you a bit longer, I would go this route.

Over the past few months, I have been through my share of XXX Lites. As far as performance is concerned, though, it's the best stick I've used. It's well-balanced, has a nice feel for the puck and shoots better than my True-1s did. Personally, I have encountered durability issues with the XXX Lites (shafts moreso than blades), but, being more concerned with performance, I choose to keep buying them 'til I find something better.

I took a look a few months ago at the Bauer XXX Lite but left that the shaft was larger than all the other sticks out there, so it didn't feel comfortable in my hands. I've also heard that the durability is sub-par on the XXX Lite.

I chose a Mac over them both. I wanted a 75 flex, but they only had 85 for the Warriors, and The XXX had a 77. But the Mac Daddy still won me over, It has no sign of breaking down yet, even after 2 and a half months now.

I purposely put in the pole to get the opinion of the people who didn't wnat to bother stopping to make a post, and put in teh Dolomite just as a back up option. At this current point, it seemes more people like the DOlomite than the Mac Daddy and was curious as to why that is. Is this because fewer people have the Mac Daddy because the Dolomite is cheaper and the people posting don't know what the Mac Daddy is like? Or is this simply because people think that the Dolomite is better?

I haven't had alot of use of all 3 of them but I liked the feel more of the Mac Daddy and preferd the snap of the XXX-Lite, TBH I wouldn't mind either of these sticks, I rate them pretty similar.

I voted for the Dolomite, but mostly because of the shaft shape. the bulkiness that djosburn wrote about in his post is there in both the Mac Daddy and the XXX-Lite. The Dolomite has a slightly smaller, rounded shaft. If I were you, I'd go into the store to feel them and get an idea of which stick you feel has the best balance, and which shaft shape you like better.

As far as the Dolomite being cheaper, it's usually not cheaper by much- $10-20 at most places I've seen.

handled some XXX lite's today, also ordered a mac daddy today. (based on curves), but may just yet pick up a XXX. I want to experience the true OPS. I'll keep you posted.

I have heard alot about durability issues with the XXX's. but I guess you sacrifice that for performance?

u say not to get a XXX Lite, so would u prefer a dolomite or a mac daddy out of the warrior sticks? or do you have another stick of preference that you think i should look at?

I have the XXX-Lite and am not a fan of it at all. When you recieve a pass, it feels like the blade is goin' to shatter and then the shfat will right after. The feel is pretty good on it..but the durability is shit'. I use a pro-stock regular synergy and love it. I have tried the domolite and do like it, but I haven't used the mac daddy.

I know we've not only had the same post, but the exact same poll a couple times. Try using the search tool.
