BushLeagueDangler08 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 (tried a search but couldn't find an answer)Alright so after breaking about 4 SL's I've been using an ST 85 flex forseberg for the past couple months which is holding up alot better. Im looking into buying a new stick, tho.My buddy offered to sell me a 100 flex fedo dolomite for $100 which hasnt been used and it seems like a good deal from the feedback i've heard on here/teammates, but I don't know how much the higher flex is going to effect my shot. After measuring it with my current stick, I would only need to cut it about an inch, maybe less. Granted, I have a good shot right now, and I know sticks tend to get somewhat broken in over time, but is this going to make my shot alot worse? The other option I had was buying an 87 flex one90, for $160So what should I go with? Thanks for the help guys
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 If you're comfortable with your flex why change it?I'd try playing with a 100 flex stick first, then make your decision.
BushLeagueDangler08 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 well, im saving $60 if i go with the dolomite, but I was just wondering if theres going to be that much of a difference in the flex. A couple of my buddies said that once it breaks in it gets some more whip to it, and ive heard great reviews about it.If the flex will ruin or decrease any part of my shot, then getting the one90 for the extra $60 is worth it, so i was just wondering if the flex is going to hurt my shot at all. EBondo 242 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 I've had the opportunity to use both sticks.IMO, the Dolomite has a better kick than the One90, but the durability on the blade sucked. I broke two blades. I bought the One90 about a month ago, and I've been extremely impressed with the performance, and durability. The One90 does have the same problem as the SL did with the paint chipping, but other than that, the stick is extremely solid. The grip that is on it is awesome, and the shaft shape is just to my liking. I prefer the One90 over the Dolomite.
G.M. 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 So, why go with a 100 for the savings in $$? At $160 for the One90, you're still getting a great deal. Who knows, it can't be much worse than the SL's, right? Also, sticks break...just how it is. If your ST is going well, either buy another one, OR, find a dealer that has old silver originals in stock that he's closing out for $85. :D85...been using 85 for past couple years
BushLeagueDangler08 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 yeah the dolo seemed pretty close in the flex to the ST tho, but maybe thats just me. Thanks for the help so far guys
TCsnipes9 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 interesting. the Warriors ive used seem stiffer than Eastons when comparing the same flex rating.

Dman33 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 i've made the transfer from sls to dolomites, they dolomite is stiffer than what is say. ie 100 flex warrior is stiffer then 100 flex easton, but after using the stick alot it became less stiff and it was perfect for me.
