Numbers on skates

Some of the new skates (Vectors etc...) have that number plate on the heel...does anyone put their number on their skates? Just wonderin?

That would be handy. When I played travel, I had to put a toetag style tag on my skates when they were serviced or I would never see them again lol.

nope.... the big number on the back of my jersey does the trick just fine. Those number plates are goofy

I think the process peaked with putting it on the bottom in Sharpie.

No league=no number, but I covered the goofy-looking "88" on my Vectors with black tape.
