Smyth's Stick

Looking at some pictures of smyth last night and it looks as though his warrior is an aluminum. It has the silver tip at the bottom, can anyone clear this up for me.

i know for a fact it is a ak47 shaft with some sort of custom foil tip. Ive seen one at my work and thats what it is.

Would that just be a piece of foil to cover where the blade connects to the shaft. Kind of how people tape theirs.

They had a thing on him and he was showing off how his stick was a while ago on t.v. and i'm sure he said he put in a metal peice on the bottom. I can't remeber why but i'm pretty sure that's what he said.

The only thing i can think of is maybe because he wants to keep his equipment looking older and hes not into the whole new look of equipment.

every stick he's used besides the synergy for a week has had the silver foil.

look at the guys skates, like kovalev wants to look different since they discontinued the tacks. his gloves are elbow high, although now say RBK???

some of his stuff has a greztky feel to it, ie. skates, gloves, and i'm sure he uses an old jofa helmet like gretz's for practice or for fooling around

the holders on one of his pairs of 9k white pumps are a navy color like gretzky used to used when he was here. I got to see them thursday and wish i coulda taken pics. they looked sweeeeeet

On cbc they showed him putting on his skates and there were the blue epro holders.

He does it because manufacturers will do it for him. If one said no, another would do it.

He has always emulated Gretzky. Remember Gretz was the first with the Silvertip shaft.
