comp puck I'm down and have possibly 3 skaters and a goalie if needed? any chance we can get JR to send us some MSH gear to represent?

that would be pretty tight and might be extra nice since i dont know how else we'd get matching jerseys... something to think about...

we should try to get/limit it to 8 skaters and a goalie... looks like so far we have:

Swiss

Snake

Saba

Hatchback

+3 skaters and 1 goalie with Saba and possibly some with Hatchback

jmiro, damnlocust, sicklife and maybe iceburg were also originally interested... any of you guys in? Priority should probably go to ModSquad members if thats the real reason we're getting together, but first come first serve is fine with me as well since we're on a semi-tight schedule...

I'd be okay with 10 and 2 goalies if everyone else was okay with less rink time. i'm probably playing elite too and so is swiss so it's not a big deal, and it would lower the cost a little, but obviously not too much... 8 and goalie is 40 each, 10 and 2 would be like 30...

p.s. - swiss i think you might just want to find a halloween mask or something to cover up that mug of yours...

Competitive puck is fine with me, however I'd like to have 12 players. Even if we just did 11 skaters, 1 goalie and one backup is fine with me. We're guaranteed 3 games to play so there should be plenty of ice time. It's also a running clock with no off-sides and no two-line passes so I believe breaks will be few and far between. It would be nice to have plenty of substitutes. With 11 skaters, we would have two full lines and one partial if we did it that way, or could do individual subs. Something we'll have to figure out once we get everyone confirmed. It's all up to you guys though, we can limit it but the more people the lower the cost overall will be also.

I have three guys that can come with me but I'll have to check there status for sure. If Saba comes up from DC and has a goalie with him, I'll bring my goalie equipment and jump in net if theres a problem, otherwise I'll be D. That'll give us two goalies at least. I know some people won't end up making it as things pop up but here's the tentative list so far.

Competitive puck:

Swiss

Snake

Saba

hatchback19

6 unnamed skaters (+3 saba, +3 me)

1 unnamed goalie

That would give us 11 guys unconfirmed. Room for at least one more who want to jump on board. Money has to be to Mark Madden by February 14th. Again, I'm sure not everyone will be able to make it so feel free to try to jump in on it. At this point we have enough to play, so lets try to get a confirmed list of all who can defiantly make it. I'll call up the people I know and see what they have to say. I'll start a confirmed list of people in my next post as soon as I find out what the other three are doing. Thanks for the help guys,

Man 12 or 11 is a lot for an inline team for a tourny. Keep in mind it is 4 on 4 and only 10 min. running time periods. I mean Ill still play with that many, but I think itd be much better with 8 or 9.

i dont think we'll want more than 10 skaters... with people coming from out of town to play, everyone deserves as much rink time as possible. if goalies are okay with splitting time that's they're call...

I'd love to get some more people from the board get involved in this so we can have a true MSH team...

maybe Saba or someone could send a PM to JR about some MSH gear or screening some jerseys for us?

12 IMHO is way too many folks. If we want to get max time for our travels 8-9 for inline is the perfect number. Maybe we can enter 2 teams or I can uninvite people to trim the number down. I can nail down confirmations as soon as we have things tied down here. However, a yes today could be a no the night of the 23rd(you know how people are). You have me for sure

I will send a mail to JR and volunteer to get the jersey situation sorted. Who is going to be the liason to Mark Madden? Who is going to handle our registration fee? etc...etc.....

Well swiss shouldnt have any problem being the go between for our team and the tournament as he has connections to the rink staff lol... so i'm sure that getting the money in won't be a problem as long as everyone is committed...

personally i just don't like having an odd number of skaters... i'd rather have 10 than 9... but 8 is really ideal...

haha thanks for volunteering me. haha Ill talk to the pops tonight, let him know were doing a team, and Ill get our team registered. Just need to make sure Im gonna recieve the money if it is fronted. Also team names?

Boys, looks like your gonna have to count me out for this one unfortunately.

I was just informed today that i was selected to go to the PIHA All-Star game that same weekend. Thats an opportunity I just cant give up so sorry boys, best of luck!

Guys as JR replied we cannot use the MSH logo, intials, or jersey for the tourney. I have my hands on 12 black biscuit. If not to taste I can get my hands on some Raiders color jersey(black with silver and white pipping.

Just tried these on and run between Xl and XXL.

Need to know if you guys like this color or prefer the Raiders color, numbers, and logo design(1 color please)????

Hoffer will be playing for the Lancaster Vipers B team. They will be participating in rec ball and puck.
